When you look at photos of people wearing JLab’s latest headphones, your first thought might be, “Wow, these people must be tiny.” But no – the headphones are just huge. Absurdly huge. In fact, they’re so huge that you’ll turn heads when you wear them on the street. And not even once think about taking her on the bus.
Just to confirm, JLab’s latest device is real. It’s not a joke. I mean, they may look like a joke, but you may buy them. For $100.
To be honest, unless you have a massive head, they aren’t actually meant to be worn over your ears, as that’s the only way to get a comfortable fit.
Their official name is Blue XL Speaker Headphones, so yes, they are more speakers than headphones. Although they are very similar to headphones.
You could Wear it around your neck for portability, but we couldn’t find any information about its weight. But it’s safe to say that you’ll get a full-body workout every time you put these things on.
It’s probably better to place it somewhere in your home and use it as a regular Bluetooth speaker. They will certainly be a conversation starter when someone comes to visit.
JLab’s unique speaker headphones are powered by dual 2.5-inch drivers and passive radiators that deliver 30 watts of audio power and apparently “deliver rich, immersive sound for up to 20 hours on a single charge,” according to the California-based company. They also offer 10W fast charging that fully charges the battery in three hours.
Do you want a pair? Only a limited number of these are being made, so you need to act quickly.
At the other extreme, JLab recently launched these ANC earbuds that are so small you could end up losing them. There’s no chance with these speaker headphones.
