OnePlus has confirmed mega battery capacity for its upcoming affordable flagship model, which is said to offer a range of premium features from its more expensive sibling at a more affordable price.
The phone also has 80W SuperVOOC charging, which should provide fairly quick charging. Other features include a 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display with 450 pixels per inch and variable brightness from 1800 nits all the way down to 2 nits and even 1 nit when Reduce White Point mode is enabled.
It’s powered by Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which is just under the 15’s elite chip.
Real battery life of two days
I’ve been using the OnePlus 15 for weeks now and I’m really impressed with the battery life. As of this writing, I still have 40% of battery life left, and the battery has been dead for a day and 14 hours – two days of battery life is actually one thing, and you don’t have to limit your usage to achieve this.
Why am I sharing this? Well, the power pack in the 15 has a capacity of 7,300mAh, while the OnePlus 15R will come with an even larger battery of 7,400mAh.
That’s a good sign for those looking for a phone with a good display and performance, but also want long battery life and a cheaper price.

However, if you’re looking for a true flagship phone, the OnePlus 15 is now finally available for pre-order in the US. The 16GB RAM + 512GB configuration will cost you $999.99. There is also a 12GB + 256GB model, but it is currently not available for pre-order in the US.
