Spotify has released its annual Wrapped rankings, revealing the most streamed business and technology podcasts of 2025 – a list dominated by UK talent, Wall Street heavyweights and format-changing creators.
The streaming giant said users spent more time listening and watching podcasts this year than ever before, with video podcast consumption increasing by 54% compared to last year. More than 390 million listeners streamed a video-based show in 2025, marking a major shift in the way audiences engage with long-form content on the platform.
Topping the business and tech charts is The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett, which continues to attract a global audience with its interviews about entrepreneurship, psychology, leadership and culture. Bartlett’s show also ranked second in all podcast categories on Spotify this year, solidifying its position as one of the largest media companies in the world.
Second for business and technology is The Journal. from The Wall Street Journal, followed by Chris Williamson’s Modern Wisdom, which climbed the charts after several viral episodes and a huge jump in video engagement.

“It took about four years for the show to really gain traction,” he said. “Around episode 450, things really started to click. If you’re just starting a podcast, stay patient. The initial buzz feels endless, but the momentum is there.”
Williamson cited a pivot to video and prioritizing “timeless, always-timely conversations rather than following the news cycle” as key reasons for the show’s growth.
Joe Rogan tops the global Spotify charts again
In the global overall ranking of all categories, The Joe Rogan Experience remains the most popular podcast on Spotify in 2025. Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO came in second place overall, while The Mel Robbins Podcast took third place.
