“Black Packs” are a dime a dozen these days, between the Vantas from GWM, the Black Inks from Hyundai and the aptly named Black Editions from Ford and Mitsubishi.
Now Mitsubishi has launched another Black Edition that offers more features and, yes, various items in black.
The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander LS Black Edition is priced at $47,990 before on-road costsand will arrive at local dealers in February.
This isn’t the only addition to the retail offering: the previously fleet-only front-wheel-drive ES 5+2 (as the seven-seat Outlanders are called) is now available to private buyers, priced at $42,540 before it hits the streets.

All Outlanders come with a 10-year, 200,000km warranty with 10 years of roadside assistance and top-priced servicing.
If you don’t service your Outlander with Mitsubishi, the warranty drops to five years or 100,000 km.
Last year, Mitsubishi launched an updated Outlander with locally tuned steering and suspension, a larger touchscreen and a tweaked exterior design, among other things.
It’s still powered by a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with 135kW of power and 244Nm of torque, mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), although a plug-in hybrid powertrain (PHEV) is available and an updated Outlander PHEV will be launched in the coming weeks.
