When CES 2026 begins on January 6, 2026, LG will be one of the biggest names people are watching. The tech trade show features product presentations across the entire spectrum of gadgets and the Korean company will hold presentations across the largest range, from TVs and monitors to speakers and home appliances.
LG has confirmed that it will be hosting a big press conference and livestream on January 6th at 8 a.m. PT, which you can also watch on YouTube. This will give us a glimpse at some of the company’s headline-grabbing releases this year, but its presence on the showroom floor at the CES showroom in Las Vegas will give us a better look at everything to come.
In fact, thanks to a blog post about the CES 2026 Innovation Awards, we already know what’s planned. We’re familiar with the company’s robot vacuum cleaners, 6K computer monitors and micro RGB TVs – the latter of which could be one of the big TV trends of the year, with the big launch party at CES.
If you’re curious about what’s in store for the brand a month from now, here’s what we expect from LG at CES 2026.
Micro RGB, Signature and OLED TVs
LG has used CES in the past as an opportunity to introduce a large number of new televisions. 2025 will see updates to multiple product lines, and 2026 will be no different. In fact, we know what to expect from the LG Innovation Awards.
The company will definitely release new OLED TVs and monitors, including an improved version of its transparent Signature OLED T, as well as a new top-of-the-line LCD panel with Micro RGB.
Micro RGB is a relatively new type of technology, first introduced in a TV in mid-2025, that uses tiny red, green and blue LEDs to improve contrast and color accuracy. Think Micro LED, but better in some ways and even more expensive. We expect several TVs at CES to feature Micro RGB; Perhaps it’s the new display trend of the year, so every fan of TV technology should pay attention to LG’s announcements.
LG fans will also be looking for new additions to the LG G or C series, which will likely be responsible for the accolades LG has been screaming about. While Micro RGB is likely to turn heads in the Las Vegas showroom, this year’s G and C models will be the TVs that tech fans and journalists will use and discuss all year long (we named the G5 one of the most exciting TVs at CES 2025). We’re assuming they’ll be called G6 and C6, although LG has used those names in the past for phones and TVs, respectively.
Are there other televisions? It’s not clear at the moment, but it’s unlikely that LG will introduce some cheaper devices, as that would give the Micro RGB, G6 and C6 more screens to steal the spotlight with.
Monitors, laptops and more screens
TVs aren’t the only screens from LG you can see in any given year, and that will certainly be the case at the 2026 CES event as well.
In recent years, the brand has introduced new gaming monitors at CES, most recently the UltraGear GX9, which we called one of the new trends in 5K monitors announced during the show. With CES 2026 expected to debut various graphics cards that will hopefully make 5K gaming even more accessible, we’ll likely see more high-resolution gaming monitors from the brand.
The GX9’s other big selling point was OLED, and we may see more mid-range OLED versions beyond the high-end UltraGear range. That would be welcome given the current price difference between the OLED UltraGear and other options from the brand, and affordable OLED monitors could be one of the biggest draws of the entire CES show.
We also occasionally see some of the brand’s wildcard monitors, like the LG UltraFine 6K Display we featured last year, and the lack of OLED in this model means an updated option would be in high demand. We know a new version of it Is is coming, but there’s no word on its OLED status.
Last year, LG also added some new products to its LG Gram laptop family and AI was the selling point for all of them. If “new” AI is one of the brand’s selling points for CES 2026, we’ll likely see some even newer Gram laptops or 2-in-1s with these new features.
Speakers, soundbars and hearables
Although LG isn’t the most prolific audio company in the world, it often uses CES to unveil its new speakers. Last year’s xBoom refresh, voted by will.i.am, made our list of the best audio products at CES.
It’s possible that the next series of xBoom speakers will be unveiled at CES, possibly with a new celebrity cheerleader, although that was a first for the company. More refined alternatives would be more welcome.
There’s a good chance we’ll also see one or more new soundbars accompanying LG TVs. The affordable US20A was touted last year, but in general the company’s soundbar lineup could use a spring clean.
Kitchen appliances, smart home kit and robot vacuum cleaner
As in previous years, home appliances and smart technologies are expected to be the focus of LG’s presence at CES and press conference. That’s because the focus this year appears to be on “enriching daily lives through loving intelligence – delivering harmonized and seamlessly connected customer experiences.”
We always see products like refrigerators, washing machines, and cookware populating LG’s CES contingent, and this quote from the brand’s 2026 conference announcement suggests that new models will have AI and connectivity features. A new washing machine might not be at the top of a tech enthusiast’s CES wish list, but new features or smart home systems are likely to be shared by TVs and speakers and are still worth a look.
We also know from the Innovation Awards that LG will announce a new robot vacuum cleaner equipped with a small station that stays fresh through steam cleaning.
