The successor to one of Samsung’s most popular product lines, the affordable Galaxy A series, is slowly emerging from the shadows. Dubbed the Galaxy A07 5G, the handset has broken the mold thanks to a listing on Google Play Console (via TheTechOutlook) and is among the first dominoes to fall before an Android phone hits the market.
According to the listing, the smartphone has the model number SM-A076B, which confirms that it is indeed the alleged Galaxy A07 5G. The listing also reveals other key details about the smartphone, including 8GB of RAM and a MediaTek Dimensity chipset with two performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz (presumably the Dimensity 6300 SoC).
The Galaxy A07 5G should run a One UI build based on Android 16 out of the box. Last but not least, the phone features an HD+ screen with a pixel density of 300ppi. While this is the extent of the information available on the device’s specs, the listing also gives us a first look at the device.
Apparently, the phone features a U-shaped notch on the front, thick bezels on the sides, and an even thicker chin on the bottom. While the power and volume buttons are located on the right frame, the back houses a vertically arranged camera module that protrudes from the otherwise flat panel.
As far as we can see, the design of the 5G version of the Galaxy A07 is based on the 4G model released in September 2025. In summary, the listing paints a clear picture: the Galaxy A07 5G isn’t trying to stand out in a market full of entry-level 5G phones. Instead, it’s about refinement.
The Galaxy A07 4G, which is already available in multiple regions, comes with Samsung’s promise of six years of operating system updates, a feature that attracts long-term buyers to the device, and the upcoming Galaxy A07 5G is expected to be no different.
