Ram Rampage ute heading to Europe – could Australia be next?

Ram’s more compact, affordable Rampage crew cab model is set to be sold outside Latin America, with a European launch planned – but there’s no word on right-hand drive production yet.

Designed and built by the Brazilian Ram Rampage will be presented at Fieracavalli 2025, an equestrian competition taking place in Italy from November 6th to 9th, 2025.

Without announcing a launch date for Europe, Ram said the ute will “meet the evolving needs of European drivers seeking the perfect balance of everyday and rugged utility.”

“With its positioning between C-SUVs and midsize pickups, Rampage fills a gap in the market with a compelling value proposition,” the company said in a press release, confirming that more information will be revealed at the end of the event.

By launching the Rampage in Europe, Ram would be a much more suitable vehicle for European conditions than its full-size pickups, which have niche appeal on the continent.

Not to be confused with the recently unveiled Ram Dakota Nightfall for Latin America or Ram’s upcoming American-built body-on-frame midsize crew cab (which could also carry the Dakota nameplate). The Rampage is more of a “lifestyle” vehicle, derived from the car-like unibody underpinnings of the Jeep Compass.

Although it was the first Ram designed and built by the American brand in Brazil, there were already indications that it would also be sold outside Latin America.
