Price and specifications of the Genesis GV70 2026

The Genesis GV70 launches in 2026 with minor changes, including new technology and minor price increases.

The 2026 model year (MY26) GV70 entered production in October and will be available in local showrooms this month.

All variants of the midsize luxury SUV are $600 more expensive for 2026, but get Digital Key 2. Once you’ve registered your GV70 with a Genesis Connected Services account, you can save a digital key to your smartphone wallet that’s shared with up to 15 compatible devices.

This means that if you have a device with Ultra Wideband Technology (UWB), you don’t have to take your phone (or key fob) out of your pocket to unlock the car; Smartphones without UWB can still use Near Field Communication (NFC), so you can tap your phone against the door handle to unlock and the wireless reader in the car to start it.

Digital Key 2 works even if you have no cellular signal or your smartphone battery is dead.

Apart from the addition of a new exterior paint finish – Bering Blue gloss, available across the range – and the removal of the GV70 badge at the rear, there are no other changes to the GV70 for MY26.

Genesis has yet to announce any changes for the Electrified GV70, the electric version of its midsize SUV.
