McLaren x Nat Bowen unveil new MSO 750S “Project Chromology”

McLaren’s latest MSO project combines supercar excellence with bold artistry.

McLaren’s MSO, or McLaren Special Operations division, specializes in adding bespoke touches and unique flair to the manufacturer’s historic, motorsport-derived product range, transforming lightweight, powerful and beautiful supercars into unique statements of automotive excellence and collectible masterpieces. The latest project to emerge from MSO is Project Chromology, which is not just any MSO project, but a bespoke McLaren 750S created in collaboration with renowned British abstract artist Nat Bowen.

Nat Bowen’s art is known for exploring the psychology of color through her resin-based works. It’s full of bold, bold colors that were implemented in the supercar when MSO and Nat Bowen came together for Project Chromology. Debuting as part of the ongoing Miami Art Week celebrations, Project Chromology features a new, innovative layered finish, MSO Chromatic Layered Finish, on its unique exterior. For the first time at McLaren, the exterior features a changing depth and tone, a sublime texture and a dynamism that is both visible and felt throughout.

A select group of customers will have the opportunity to own examples of the Project Chromology McLaren 750S, and each individual order will feature a color palette curated using Bowen’s artistic themes as inspiration. Additionally, for the first time for MSO, the car will feature an embossed 24k gold-plated emblem. Combining bespoke luxury, artful, unique design, meticulous craftsmanship, innovative techniques and of course the supercar performance of the new McLaren 750S, MSO’s new Project Chromology is a combination of McLaren’s outstanding automotive expertise and Nat Bowen’s artistry.
