Mahindra Australia finally announces sales figures after outperforming the market in 2025

Mahindra’s sales rose 11.6 percent last year, pushing the Indian car brand into the top 30.

The company does not submit its sales figures to the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) for publication in monthly VFACTS reports, making it one of only a few brands – including Cadillac, Smart and Xpeng – that do not provide this data.

However, amid a strong year for the brand, it has released a press release detailing its sales.

With 4,653 sales, up from 4,170 in 2024, Mahindra ranked 29th – although the company is quick to mention that it was a top 20 brand if you exclude prestige brands.

This put it just below Skoda (4808) and the newcomer Geely (5010), but ahead of Renault (4569) and KGM (4116).

The overall market only grew by 0.3 percent.

Mahindra cites its latest model, the small SUV XUV 3XO, as a key growth driver despite the company only launching it in July. However, sales are not broken down by model.
