Chinese car brand Leapmotor has previewed its smallest SUV yet ahead of its unveiling later this week.
The Jump motor A10 will be officially launched at the Guangzhou Motor Show on November 21, 2025.
Currently, the company has only released two images – one of an A10 in Seaweed Green, the other in Acorn Brown.
Leapmotor Australia has not yet confirmed whether the A10 will be coming here.
It’s clearly a Leapmotor, which means it’s not particularly distinctive.

The headlights aren’t as sleek as those on the larger B10 (coming out in Australia this year) and C10 (already on sale), and are instead reminiscent of older Leapmotor products.
The body is rounded but has a fairly upright roofline, giving it a silhouette reminiscent of the Smart #1 and the BYD Atto 2 – the latter becoming its most direct competitor.
Leapmotor hasn’t released A10 specs yet, but it will be smaller than the B10, which is slightly longer and wider than a BYD Atto 3. It measures 4515 mm long and 1885 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2735 mm.
The A10 could therefore be closer in size to the Atto 2. The BYD small SUV, which hits Australian showrooms in December, is 4310mm long, 1830mm wide and has a 2620mm wheelbase.
The A10 is said to offer LiDAR, at least in China, as confirmed by the small roof box on the windshield.
It’s unclear whether the A10 will follow the larger B10 and C10 and offer both electric powertrains (EV) and range-extended electric vehicles (EREV).
The B10 offers a choice of 52.2kWh and 67.1kWh lithium iron phosphate batteries in electric versions with a rear-mounted 160kW/240Nm electric motor. The EREV version still needs to be described in detail.
Leapmotor completes its global offering: the B10 and C10 models are joined by the B05 hatchback, which was presented at the Munich Motor Show in September. The Australian release is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
The company offers four different vehicle families: the A series, which refers to city cars and SUVs such as the A10; as well as small B-series vehicles, medium-sized C-series vehicles and large D-series vehicles.
The company has already fleshed out its B and C series and is now focusing on expanding its A and D series. It will also introduce a new flagship large SUV called D19.
Leapmotor had a slow start in Australia.
After launching at the end of last year and delivering 64 vehicles in December, an additional 516 vehicles were delivered by the end of October this year. Geely, which launched here earlier this year with its rival EX5, has delivered 3,358 units of this model alone this year.
The B10 could help the brand gain traction in our market, as it was announced with a base price of $38,990 per car, topping the Atto 3 – briefly making it Australia’s cheapest electric SUV.
Should the A10 get here, it would likely have to be priced close to or better than the BYD Atto 2, whose price was recently confirmed ahead of launch.
