Leaked images of the Galaxy S26 give you your first look at the subtle design changes

Samsung is preparing to unveil its next-generation flagship lineup later this month, and leaks are starting to paint a clearer picture of what changes we can expect to the Galaxy S26 lineup. We’ve already seen reports of several hardware and software upgrades set to come with the devices. Now, trusted leaker OnLeaks has shared images that offer a clearer look at the rumored design changes.

As seen in previous leaks, the images suggest that Samsung could be moving to a new camera design for its upcoming devices that features a vertical, pill-shaped camera island with three sensors. The top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to have two more sensors in addition to an LED flash to the right of the camera island, while the regular Galaxy S26 only appears to have a flash module.

One of the images also offers a look at the bottom edge of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, showing a USB-C port between the SIM slot and a single speaker grille. The S Pen slot appears to have been moved closer to the corner, which is more rounded than before and could potentially offer a more comfortable hand feel than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The remaining pages cannot be clearly seen in the pictures, but antenna bands can be seen at the top and left edges. The button placement is likely to be the same as last year’s models, with both the volume rocker and the power button positioned in the top half of the right edge.

Expect major changes inside

Although the Galaxy S26 series doesn’t appear to be much different in design from last year’s lineup, the devices are expected to bring some notable improvements on the inside. In addition to a new SoC, which could be either Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip or Samsung’s own Exynos 2600, the Galaxy S26 models are said to offer improvements on the camera and software front.

Samsung hasn’t officially announced its next Galaxy Unpacked event yet, but more leaks are expected in the coming weeks, revealing more details and the release schedule.
