Leak suggests you may get fewer color choices for the Galaxy S26 Ultra

We recently took a look at the possible color options Samsung could offer for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, this leak seems to have missed some color variants. Now a new leak has revealed the full line-up and their official names.

The previous leak that introduced the SIM trays for Samsung’s upcoming flagship pointed to four options: black, white, blue and purple. But trusted tipster Evan Blass now claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could launch in six finishes, officially named Black, White, Silver Shadow, Sky Blue, Cobalt Purple and Rose Gold.

Speaking of Samsung: The colors of the Galaxy S26 Ultra are:

* Black
* White
* Silver shadow
* sky blue
* Cobalt violet
* Rose gold

As suggested in the previous leak, the Cobalt Violet variant is likely to be the signature color and could feature prominently in Samsung’s marketing materials for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Interestingly, Blass doesn’t mention the previously leaked orange option, suggesting that Samsung may have reconsidered and ditched the paint job to avoid being labeled a copycat.

Fewer color options than last year’s flagship

The color options offered for last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra support this theory. Samsung offered the device in seven color variants, including four standard options and three Samsung.com exclusive variants. If the latest leak is true, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch with just six finishes, another indication that a previously planned color option may have been shelved.

Whether this turns out to be true remains to be seen. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place in late February. Although the company has not yet officially announced the event, confirmation will likely come in the weeks leading up to it.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, the Galaxy S26 series appears to be a relatively minor upgrade over last year’s models. Still, early reports suggest the devices could cost more than their predecessors due to rising component costs, with fewer launch benefits included upon release.
