Lamborghini presents a collector’s unfathomable garage.
For over 60 years, Lamborghini has been responsible for producing some of the most desirable and spectacular supercars in the world and, with the Miura, is even credited with being the creator of this genre and the invention of the supercar as we know it today. However, over the last few years of Lamborghini’s history, the manufacturer has developed some incredibly special models, extremely rare creations that represent the pinnacle of Lamborghini design and craftsmanship of their time, with innovative approaches to performance and even previews of the characteristics of future production models.
These special models include iconic super sports cars such as the Reventón, the Sesto Elemento, the Veneno, the Centenario, the Sián, the Countach LPI 800-4 and most recently the Fenomeno. Collector Albert Spiess, whose passion for Lamborghini super sports cars began with the purchase of a 1979 Countach LP400 S, is the owner of most of these few examples. His collection includes a 2007 Reventon, a 2010 Sesto Elemento, a 2013 Veneno, a 2017 Centenario, a 2019 Sian and a 2021 Countach LPI 800-4.
The purchase of his original Countach was the trigger for his decision to start a Lamborghini collection, which, in addition to the few individual pieces, also includes some of the rarest and most impressive models. Other Lamborghinis that Spiess owns include a Miura SV and a Silhouette. For Spiess, the few examples are not only extremely exclusive masterpieces in collector’s quality, but also have a special meaning in his collection due to their innovation, design and technical features. For Albert Spiess, every single example of a Lamborghini in his collection is a chapter in the incredible history of the manufacturer’s automotive expertise.
