Each new model will come to Australia in 2026 and beyond

New generations of some of Australia’s most popular cars are due in 2026, with the Toyota RAV4 and rival Mazda CX-5 the biggest additions – but Australian launches suggest the status quo is changing.

More hybrid and electric vehicles are coming onto the market Down Under and increasing competition means more choice for new car buyers.

New brands and sub-brands are also entering the market, including GWM’s Wey, positioned in the premium segment, which will replace BYD’s recently launched Denza.
