Drive Against Depression (DAD)an Australian registered mental health charity, will conclude its 2025 calendar of events with the Brisbane Summer Drive Day on Sunday December 7th.
Participants in the event will start at the Sunshine Ford in Southport on the Gold Coast and finish at the Wynnum Ambulance Museum in Brisbane’s south.
A member of the Queensland Ambulance Service will explain how mental health calls are handled and there will be a tour of the organisation’s automotive collection and lunch.
The drive was organized by the Drive Against Depression team and Ford Australia and should therefore be an entertaining route. So that the participants don’t get lost, they use the practical Tourboss app.

There will also be a raffle with a prize of a dashcam donated by sponsor Uniden, and an expert from therapy provider Talked will also speak.
You can register for the event here. All cars are welcome as long as they are registered on the road.
“This time of year brings with it a mix of feelings and experiences – from excitement and anticipation to worry and sadness, and much more in between,” says the Drive Against Depression team.
“Whatever the end-of-year season means for you, we encourage you to take the time you need to care for your mental well-being.
“If that means a day of great roads and a fun drive with a welcoming community, we’d love to see you in Brisbane.”
Drive Against Depression hosts regular drive-in events and continues to build a network of mental health professionals to support the community and provide people with a non-judgmental way to connect with others and feel comfortable sharing their mental health journey.
This will be Drive Against Depression’s tenth and final event of 2025 and the second this year to take place in Queensland.
Various members of the Daily Sparkz The team are proud long-term supporters of Drive Against Depression and its events. James Wong (Marketplace Editor) is a current charity ambassador and founder Daily Sparkz is a former ambassador.
