Captain Mishra’s musical journey reflects dedication and passion. He was a finalist in the grand finale of the first season of Artium Superstar where he performed in front of celebrity judges including Padma Shri Sonu Nigam, Padma Shri Aruna Sairam, Raju Singh, Ananth Vaidyanathan, P. Unnikrishnan and Louis Banks. His pursuit of musical excellence continues as he trains in Hindustani classical music with Shri Anik Thakurta at Artium Academy and learns tabla from Pt. learns. He began his career in the Merchant Navy in 1989 as a trainee nautical officer, sailing in various roles and rising to captain. In 2007, he joined Essar Shipping as Assistant General Manager and moved onshore, followed by his tenure as Country Manager for India Division at International Bunkering Middle East. Today he leads ASHMA Maritime Services as CEO.
