The Cadillac Lyriq is being offered for over $20,000 off the regular price, bringing the drive-away price of the large electric SUV below the $100,000 mark for the first time.
The agreement applies to new Lyriq vehicles and model year 2025 (MY25) demonstrator vehicles purchased by private buyers between December 1, 2025 and February 28, 2026 and delivered by March 31, 2026.
Regardless of state or territory, Cadillac touts a savings of $23,635 drive-away on the entry-level luxury variant and $25,173 on the sport flagship.
The Cadillac Australia configurator now lists the Luxury and Sport at $91,300 before on-road costs, putting it below the Luxury Car Tax (LCT) “fuel efficient vehicle” threshold, making it eligible for an exemption from the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT).
On-road costs are limited to stamp duty, registration, compulsory third party insurance and number plate fees.

The drive-away prices are as follows:
| Condition | One-way fare |
|---|---|
| VIC | $96,089 |
| QLD | $94,066 |
| NSW | $96,556 |
| WA | $98,693 |
| To | $95,819 |
| NT | $94,708 |
| THE | $95,602 |
| ACT | $96,507 |
The Lyriq Sport traditionally carried a $2,000 price premium over the Lyriq Luxury, but now both model grades are offered at the same price.
Premium paint is also included at no additional cost, but leather upholstery – rather than Inteluxe leatherette – remains a $3,000 option.
Cadillac Australia’s website lists 68 pre-configured Lyriqs in inventory.
Prior to this deal, Cadillac offered a $10,000 “special offer discount” on the Lyriq electric vehicle (EV) in October and November, according to the brand’s online configurator.
A deal was also announced where the total value of on-road costs and LCT was deducted from the total drive-away price, resulting in total savings of between $11,393 and $16,405.
Pricing for the Lyriq was therefore $114,935 in the Luxury trim and $116,473 in the Sport trim – still a significant saving compared to the list prices of $122,000 and $124,000 before on-road costs respectively, but not as generous as this latest offering.
You can order Lyriqs online or visit the brand’s (so far) only Experience Center in Australia in the Sydney suburb of Rosebery.
Cadillac also has a test drive location in Port Melbourne in Victoria, but the next planned experience center – in Brisbane – has yet to open. The opening was planned for the end of this year.
Deliveries of the Lyriq began in Australia in early 2025 and it is the US premium EV brand’s debut model here, where sales figures have not yet been announced.
Cadillac Australia says it remains on track to add connected services to the Lyriq this year. This also includes an update for existing Lyriq owners who need to visit one of the brand’s service locations.
The Lyriq retains wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but has Google Built-in with embedded Google apps like Google Maps and Google Assistant. Additional apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
The embedded Google Maps has intelligent route guidance that can suggest charging stops along your route.
Outside the car, you can use a smartphone app to remotely check the vehicle’s status, including location and charge level, and control door locks, alarm, lights, windows and air conditioning.
The electric SUVs Lyriq-V, Optiq and Vistiq, which are scheduled to come onto the market here in 2026, will also receive the same technology suite.
All buyers will receive Cadillac Connected Services for eight years from the date of initial registration.
A key technology that Cadillac offers in North America but not here is Super Cruise, which enables hands-free driving on over a million miles of road on the continent.
Parent company General Motors has said Australian legislation does not support local use of the feature and the cost of mapping a country runs into millions of dollars.
