Bentley’s flagship performance grand tourer has officially been BRABUS-ized.
While much of its history is characterized by the individualization of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, BRABUS has radically expanded its portfolio in recent chapters. BRABUS is now known for boats, motorcycles, a motorhome and many exciting customizations of vehicles from other manufacturers such as Porsche and Range Rover. Recently, BRABUS also announced new leadership as the manufacturer continues to grow, including the appointment of Milica Umicevic as Creative Director.
Her role at the manufacturer evolves from an existing VIP relationship position at BRABUS since November 2023, and as the new creative director, Umicevic will lead the artistic, creative and aesthetic direction of the esteemed brand as well as the design of the new BRABUS Masterpiece vehicles. Among the first vehicles unveiled at BRABUS under Umicevic’s creative direction are the new BRABUS 900 and the BRABUS 900 Superblack, based for the first time on the Bentley Continental GT Speed and Bentley Continental GTC Speed.
The standard Bentley Continental GT itself is at the beginning of a new chapter, adopting a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 powertrain with a hybrid system to deliver unprecedented performance. By harnessing this and developing it further, the new BRABUS 900 develops a massive 900hp of power and 811lb/ft of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 60 in the BRABUS 900 Superblack or the BRABUS 900 Cabriolet, shown in the “Pale Brown” configuration, takes just 2.9 seconds. The Superblack coupe reaches a speed of 208 miles per hour, while the convertible reaches 172 miles per hour.
Active valve control means the exhaust note is configurable from sonorous to subtle, and an incredible custom body kit gives it a signature BRAUBS aesthetic as well as an aerodynamic improvement in performance, and custom monoblock wheels also give the vehicles a tailored aesthetic. Various interior options are available for the Bentley-based BRABUS 900 super sports car, presented in black and “Nocturne Brown” leather with a special BRABUS “Shell” design in the quilting. The new BRABUS 900 and BRABUS 900 Superblack super sports cars based on the Bentley Continental GT Speed showcase signature BRABUS luxury in a new generation of grand tourers and are an exciting new venture for the esteemed customization company.
