Bentley has just unveiled a one-off Continental GTC Azure Mulliner Qatar Edition. In the latest Continental GTC range, the Azure sits above the standard GTC and below the Speed. The Azure’s focus is on comfort, long-distance capability and sophistication, making it a natural base for a site-specific mission like this.
This car starts with a custom color called Desert Sand. In strong daylight it remains neutral and almost blends into the landscape. As the sun sets, the color becomes noticeably warmer, matching the late evening light of the Gulf. The shiny and gold rims give this model an almost monochrome look, but the impressive grille and some piano black elements on the rear bumper provide a contrast. The Qatar Edition emblems on the fender flares remind you that what you are seeing is very special.
Inside, the Azure specification already gives you comfort-focused seats for longer journeys, insulation tuned for heat management and a multi-layer fabric roof that blocks the sun during the day and can be stowed away when temperatures drop to provide an open driving experience. This particular Qatari commission, seen here, features checkered accents on the headrests, further enhancing the already luxurious interior.
This Qatar Edition also fits into a broader Mulliner push. Last year, Mulliner delivered several standout commissions, including the art-inspired Mulliner collection, the regional Mulliner Black Forest series and the Ombré by Mulliner livery featured at The Quail. Mulliner also introduced a bespoke animated Bentley welcome lamp, expanded interior material options and honored three historic Bentley limousines with modern Mulliner tributes.
In this context, this one-off GTC Azure is not decorative. It’s a precise application of Bentley’s comfort-focused flagship convertible, filtered through Mulliner’s current bespoke features and tailored to a specific location and time of day.
