Apple CarPlay will soon receive support for video playback

Apple iPhone users may be able to watch videos on their car’s infotainment screens CarPlay when the next update for iOS is available.

The official Apple CarPlay developer page now lists “AirPlay Video in Car” as a feature that programmers can add to their apps, allowing users to stream video from an iPhone app to their car’s infotainment display.
