Adobe announced a partnership with YouTube in October to add a new feature to its Premiere mobile app that gives creators a dedicated area to create and publish Shorts. At this time, the company did not share a release schedule for this Create for YouTube Shorts section, saying only that it would be available soon in the Premiere app for iOS. The feature is finally rolling out.
In a recent blog post, Adobe announced that the new content creation panel for YouTube Shorts is now available in the Premiere mobile app for iOS. It gives users access to a variety of useful tools for creating polished YouTube Shorts, including exclusive templates, transitions, presets, effects, and much more.
Adobe notes that the creation panel is designed to make it easier for users to create engaging videos, even if they have no previous video editing experience. It includes a wide range of exclusive effects, transitions and title presets, as well as a variety of ready-to-use templates to help YouTubers create eye-catching shorts.
The Shorts section also allows users to create and share original templates “to inspire others and spark new YouTube trends,” and publish finished videos directly to YouTube Shorts with just a few taps. This new section is great for both experienced creators and those looking to start their journey with YouTube Shorts, as it not only simplifies the creation process, but also provides access to advanced video editing tools such as an unlimited, multi-track timeline, studio-quality voiceover capabilities, and Firefly-based AI capabilities to generate unique assets.
The Create for YouTube Shorts section is now available in the Premiere app for iOS. You can download it for free on the App Store and tap the new Create for YouTube option to try out Adobe’s templates, effects, and transitions to improve your Shorts. The app is not currently available for Android, but Adobe has already confirmed that it is already in the works and could be available soon.
