On Saturday December 6th, hundreds of exotic cars will be driven by their owners for charity. The annual Exotic Car TOY RALLY in South Floridato benefit Toys for Tots, is celebrating its 20th anniversary by collecting toys and money to put smiles on the faces of underprivileged children during the holidays.
With the support and coordination of multiple law enforcement agencies, a parade of the world’s most exotic vehicles (including Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, Pagani, Bentley, Aston Martin and many more!) will take to the streets, with the line of exotic cars spanning over 5 miles in length.
This highly anticipated event fills up quickly and is widely considered by exotic car owners to be the premier exotic car event of the year. An amazing aspect of TOY RALLY is that exotic car owners get to drive their cars, not just park them at a car show. Additionally, this ride takes place on roads and highways closed exclusively for the TOY RALLY, providing a unique and exciting experience.
One of the most unique features of the TOY RALLY as a charity event is that it is literally 100% for charity. Every toy and penny collected is donated to the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. The TOY RALLY relies on the generosity of the community, sponsors, supporters, volunteers and participants, all of whom come together to support the event and its cause.
The TOY RALLY has received numerous awards, recognition and recognition for the immense positive impact it has on the Toys for Toddlers program. These include the Commander’s Award from the United States Marine Corp and the design of a commemorative stamp for the TOY RALLY by the United States Postal Service (USPS).
This year, the TOY RALLY begins at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, stops at Ferrari in Fort Lauderdale and then continues to the final destination at the Goodyear Blimp facility. At Goodyear, members of the United States Marine Corp. await, ready to receive the mountain of toys from participants.
Participants must register their exotic car in advance and each participant must bring new, unwrapped toys valued at at least $200, which can be donated as “entrance money.” In addition, participants also bid on auction and raffle items to raise cash, which will also be donated.
This year, the TOY RALLY is on track to raise a total of over 70,000 toys and over $1 million in cash, all donated to Toys for Tots for the children. For more information or to donate, visit www.ToyRally.com
