The Ford Mustang Mach-E has been updated for 2026, with minor design changes, interior updates and price increases of up to $1,000.
Prices for the entry-level Select model have increased by $1,000 and now start at $65,990 before on-road costs. The Premium and top GT prices, meanwhile, have each risen by $500 to $80,490 and $98,490 before on-road costs respectively.
Additionally, all three variants have seen slight changes to the powertrain, with power increases for the Select and GT and consistent torque increases across the range. Three different batteries remain, although the units installed in the Select and Premium variants have undergone slight capacity optimizations.
A new heat pump has been added to keep the vehicle’s battery at optimal levels and help keep the interior at comfortable temperatures more efficiently.

The suspension has been improved on the Select and Premium thanks to revised anti-roll bars, springs and shock absorbers. The top-spec GT retains its MagneRide adaptive suspension setup.
As for cosmetic changes, the base Select now features the same LED headlights as the Premium and GT. the Premium gets matte black bumper trim and body-color wheel arches (from gloss black); and the GT has a new front grille. All variants have also been fitted with new alloy wheel designs.
Inside, the central rotary gear selector has been replaced with a column-mounted shifter, and 10-way power front seats are now standard across the range.
Ford Australia confusingly refers to this refresh as the “MY25” model, even though it was launched in time for 2026. This is likely due to timing discrepancies in the US and Australia. The updated Mustang Mach-E is available to order now.
